ROOM ACCESSDepending upon other bookings at Picnic Point Function Centre, it may not be possible for you to have access to your function room early on the day of your reception for the purpose of decorating the room, etc. Please speak with our Wedding Co-ordinator with regards to the access time for your Wedding Reception. Picnic Point Toowoomba is happy to accept delivery of flowers and / or Wedding Cake prior to your reception commencing, however bridal couples and parents need to be mindful that whilst our facilities are air conditioned, these are turned on approximately 1/2 hour prior to the advised start time, provided by your-selves. And should you deem it necessary to have the air conditioning turned on some hours earlier, prior to the advised start time, in-order that your Wedding Cake and / or flowers do not spoil, particularly in warmer weather, a fee of $25.00 per hour or part thereof would be required to be paid. TABLE / FLOOR PLAN Tables seat a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 people. Our Wedding Co-ordinator will assist you with a floor plan to best suit your needs whilst maintaining our high level of service. A table / floor plan will be provided to you at our meeting six (6) weeks prior to your Wedding.
PLACE CARDS
Once your table / seating plan has been finalised, please group your place cards for each table together and place each table in a separate envelope. Indicate on each envelope the table number and the number of people seated at that table and the order that you wish them to be seated. Our staff will place the cards on the tables for you. However, if you or a member of your family wishes to place the cards yourselves you are more than welcome to do so.
GUEST LIST BY TABLE A list of guests by table number and in order of place card setting is required to ensure placements are as per your requirements. WEDDING CAKE Cake bags are to be supplied by the client if required. The bottom tier of the wedding cake unless otherwise advised, will be sliced and served on a platter and placed alongside the coffee station. SPEECHES It is our recommendation that speeches be held after dessert has been served, in-order for your guests sit back and enjoy the rest of your Wedding Reception.. YOUR ACCOUNT Payment for the food, room hire and sundry expenses is required prior to your Reception. If your payment is by personal cheque, payment is required five (5) business days prior to the event, however if your payment method is cash or eftpos this will be accepted up to one business day prior to the Reception. In order for Picnic Point Toowoomba to maintain its competitive pricing, credit card payments for the above portions can only be accepted if the merchant fee applicable is paid in addition to the final account. (Merchant fees applicable - Visa, Bankcard & Master-card credit cards =1.45%; Diner's Club International and American Express cards = 3.35%). Payment for your beverage component is required at the conclusion of your reception, unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. Payment will be accepted by cash, cheque or eftpos, and for convenience on the day, payment via credit card will be accepted without merchant fees. REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO RECEPTION No later than five business days prior to your reception, we require that following details to be finalised: - final guest numbers seating / table plan guest list by table number guest and bridal party place cards any other items being placed on the tables eg Sugar coated almonds, gifts, speciality chocolates, etc. full payment of all food/room hire/ and sundry expenses CLEANING FEE Additional charges will be incurred for any deliberate damage or cleaning deemed excessive by the management. Glitter and confetti are not permitted within the enclosure of the complex.
